Role Overview The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing the company's marketing strategy across digital and traditional channels. A key focus will be on maximising the potential of HubSpot CRM for lead generation, email marketing, and customer relationship management. Reporting directly to the Director, this role will require a strong blend of hands-on technical skills and strategic thinking, with a goal of increasing traffic, generating leads, and enhancing customer engagement. This is an in-office position based at our Ross-on-Wye headquarters. Key Responsibilities Digital Marketing Oversee & Manage PPC campaigns (Google Ads, Bing Ads, & social media) to drive traffic, improve cost per lead, and maximise ROI. Implement and monitor SEO strategies to improve organic traffic to our website. Implement and monitor direct approach to new business customers. Manage HubSpot as the central tool for all digital marketing activities, including email marketing, lead nurturing, and CRM. Track, analyse, and report on marketing performance using HubSpot, Google Analytics, and other relevant platforms Email Marketing & Automation Design and execute email marketing campaigns within HubSpot, focusing on customer segmentation, engagement, and retention. Content and Direct Marketing Create, execute, and analyse direct marketing strategies, including print campaigns and targeted outreach. Market Analysis & Reporting Use HubSpot’s reporting capabilities to provide insights on campaign performance, customer behaviour, and lead conversion. Conduct competitor analysis and market research to identify opportunities and improve marketing strategies. Stakeholder Collaboration Work closely with sales teams to ensure alignment between marketing efforts and business goals. Liaise with external agencies and suppliers for PPC, SEO, and content creation. Budget Management Manage the marketing budget to ensure cost-effective campaigns and maximum return on investment. Key Skills and Qualifications Proven experience (3 years) in a similar role, with hands-on experience in SEO, PPC, email marketing, and CRM. Strong understanding of digital marketing tools such as CRM, Social Media, Google Analytics, and Google Ads. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to write compelling copy for emails, print, adverts and direct marketing. Analytical mindset with a keen eye for data and the ability to turn insights into actionable marketing strategies. Highly organised and able to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines. Experience managing marketing budgets and demonstrating ROI on campaigns.
