We are looking for a Digital Content Analyst to join our dynamic Creative Operations team here at Harrods. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong analytical mindset and a passion for digital content to grow into a strategic content-focused role. The Digital Content Analyst will be responsible for reporting across all digital content, overseeing the content calendar, and providing administrative support.
This is a hybrid role, with 2 days in our Hammersmith office [every Thursday, plus 1 additional day per week].
About The Role
The Digital Content Analyst will be central to supporting content scheduling across harrods.com, email campaigns, and the Harrods app.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Generating weekly reports for our web and app homepages, as well as monthly performance reviews for content across the site. The role also involves ad hoc reporting for larger cross-functional projects, such as brand partnerships.
2. Using Google Analytics (GA4) and ContentSquare to track, analyse, and interpret data to identify performance trends. The role includes highlighting key content success metrics and making recommendations to improve content effectiveness.
3. Overseeing the content calendar to ensure seamless execution of business-as-usual (BAU) and brand partnership initiatives. This includes liaising with internal teams to align on timelines, resource requirements, and project execution.
4. Working closely with the wider Content, Digital Design, and Partnership teams to track content performance and provide strategic recommendations for future projects. This includes supporting creative managers in pulling reports for project wash-ups and ensuring accurate analytics setup at the start of projects.
5. Supporting the editorial team with content development (e.g., administrative copywriting for .com, uploading terms and conditions, managing QR code creation). Additionally, ensuring website content is accurately maintained via the Content Management System (CMS) (e.g., updating restaurant menus, store guides, and other key assets).
About You
You will have proven experience in content operations, with the ability to manage multiple content projects simultaneously. You will be confident in tracking, analysing, and reporting on content performance using Google Analytics (GA4) and/or ContentSquare.
You will also:
1. Be able to interpret data and spot performance trends, making strategic recommendations to enhance content engagement.
2. Have experience working with Content Management Systems (CMS) to update and maintain website content effectively.
3. Possess strong organisational skills, ensuring timely delivery of reports and content updates.
4. Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and build strong stakeholder relationships.
5. Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and a passion for luxury retail and digital content.
6. Have basic SEO knowledge to understand how content performance ties into search visibility.
