Job Title: Experienced Electrical Contract Supervisor
Location: West Lancashire District, Lancashire
Salary: £42,500-£45,000 per annum + Bonus
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
We are currently recruiting for an Experienced Electrical Contract Supervisor to oversee domestic electrical work, including responsive maintenance, EICRs, and planned kitchen, bathroom, and rewire projects.
This role involves the management of testing, responsive maintenance, and small planned contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Liaising with the admin team to manage operatives' workload.
2. Ensuring quality of work by direct and sub-contractor engineers.
3. Providing daily progress reports to the Contracts Manager.
4. Managing directly employed and sub-contractor operatives.
5. Overseeing on-site materials and van stock levels.
6. Communicating with clients regarding progress and issues.
7. Conducting or managing pre- and post-site surveys.
8. Collating, countersigning, and issuing electrical certification to clients.
9. Carrying out and completing small tasks when required.
10. Performing vehicle inspections and operative audits.
11. Delivering toolbox talks and ensuring Health and Safety compliance.
12. Acting as NICEIC Qualified Supervisor (QS).
Requirements:
1. Fully qualified electrician with a minimum NVQ Level 3 and 18th Edition.
2. 2391/2394 testing qualification and experience (preferred but not essential).
3. Previous experience as a NICEIC Qualified Supervisor.
4. Minimum of 4 years of electrical experience and 2 years of supervisory experience.
5. Ability to commute/relocate to West Lancashire District reliably.
6. Full UK Driving Licence.
