The Contracts and Provisions Section are looking for enthusiastic, hardworking, and reliable individuals to join their team.
Working in a fast-paced environment, you will support the delivery of a range of functions including Mainstream and Additional Support Needs (ASN) transport, Education Maintenance Allowance (EMA), and Placing Requests for pupils within North Lanarkshire Council. This will include assisting in procurement processes, processing of invoices/expense payments, application forms, and general data.
You will regularly deal with telephone, electronic, and in-person enquiries in relation to the Contracts and Provisions Service. This will include liaising with schools, pupils, parents, contractors, partners, and internal providers.
You should have the ability to work effectively within a team environment and have the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines. Good communication skills along with the ability to relate to contractors, parents, and staff are essential.
It is essential that you have good numerical skills along with a good working knowledge of a range of IT packages, including spreadsheets and databases. Experience in processing invoices and payments is desirable.
Work pattern:
35 hours per week - Monday to Thursday - 08:45 to 16:45 - Friday 08:45 to 16:15.
