Description ABOUT THE ROLE As a member of the Transnational Education (TNE) team withing Global Marketing & Business (GMB), the role holder will work with a portfolio of external partner organisations and institutions to maximise the commercial performance and growth of the University international academic partnerships. The role holder will work collaboratively with active TNE partners in a variety of international markets to identify and develop opportunities for expansion and growth. The role holder will also support the Director of Global Partnerships, PVC International and Global Partnerships Manager in the development of new partnerships in line with the University’s TNE strategy. The role holder will work closely with a colleagues and teams across the University to maximise the commercial performance of partnerships and ensure opportunities to grow income are developed rapidly and effectively. Occasional overseas travel may be required as part of the role. Further information can be found in the job description ABOUT THE TEAM The Global Partnerships team are responsible for the commercial and strategic management of the Universities TNE portfolio. We manage sixteen partnerships across ten markets and are focused on collaboration with international colleagues to support growth. We also seek out and assess opportunities for new partnerships in line with the universities strategy. We are a small, high performing team with a focus on individual development and autonomy. ABOUT YOU To be successful in the role you will have: Ability to work as an effective team member, in supporting the University Strategy and other activities for the benefit of own area of responsibility and the University as a whole. Ability to use initiative to resolve complex problems and operate with a strong commercial focus. Experience of working under pressure and to tight deadlines and demonstrating strong personal resilience. Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex issues. Demonstrable success in building successful, cooperative and collaborative relationships and partnerships within and outside the University. Experience of effectively developing and implementing strategies in relation to resource and administrative processes including more flexible and efficient working practices and of planning and organising the activities of self and/or others..
