Salary: £28,624 to £31,067 per annum
Location: Your office base will be County Hall, Chichester. A typical week requires attendance to the office and site visits but working from home can be agreed when required. This is led by the needs of the service.
Working pattern: Full time, 37 hours per week. Flexible working options available, to be agreed with your line manager. Flexibility of working hours will also be led by the business needs.
Employer Pension Contribution: 19.70% this alters per annum on the 1st April each year.
Annual leave: 25 days annual leave + bank holidays = 33 days.
As a Passenger Transport Planner, you will ensure the most effective delivery of passenger transport. You will be part of a fast-paced team to support our services.
In this role you will have a diverse range of tasks in your day-to-day role such as:
* Problem solving.
* Answering technical queries via telephone, email or video call.
* Use various processes and specialist software of which will be taught on the job.
* Route planning.
What we need from you:
* Ability to work on your own initiative and manage competing demands.
* Communication skills.
* Pro-active, with a willingness to seek opportunities for developing passenger transport.
* Effective influencing, negotiation, and partnership collaboration skills.
* Proficient in literacy and numeracy; skilled in budget management, drafting briefs, and negotiating pricing with suppliers.
* Work collaboratively with others to deliver high-quality service.
* IT knowledge, particularly Microsoft Office applications.
