DEPUTY CARE MANAGER with Specialist Education Services
Salary £31,364 to £33,945 (depending on experience) plus sleeping in payment as per rota
We are looking for a Deputy Care Manager to join our team at Turnstone House (near Beccles) on a full time permanent basis. Turnstone House is a dual registered children's home and educational setting and can currently accommodate up to 10 children, all with social, emotional and mental health complexities.
The Deputy Care Manager is an important management role, leading the team of staff on duty in the home and holding case co-ordinating responsibility. The person appointed to the role will play a pivotal part in consolidating and developing care practice within Specialist Education Services.
The successful candidate will be part of a team of DCMs, supporting the Registered Manager and Head of Care. Our DCMs lead shift teams, hold casework co-ordination roles for key children, support individual team members’ professional development and deputise for the Registered Manager whilst acting as duty senior.

Applicants must have a Level 3 Diploma (Residential Childcare or equivalent) and experience of leading in a residential setting. They must also have worked with children with social, emotional and mental health complexities. We train all our DCM team to Diploma Level 5.
