To support our growing Carpentry team in the assembly of various crates for aircraft parts/components, ensuring the safe shipping of the items. You will perform daily work scope based on aircraft parts needing crating as directed by the customer/Head of Carpentry. Assists Head of Carpentry with any work that needs to be completed.
Responsibilities:
1. Complete all crating/carpentry requests in a safe & efficient manner; ensuring correct PPE, etc. is worn at all times.
2. Complete requisition forms for materials and supplies, and submit to management for processing.
3. Communicate with management to clarify work order information and to relay repair results.
4. Strict adherence to Company Health & Safety policy by all staff and report issues/concerns (including 5S, Housekeeping, etc.).
5. Promote a culture of safety by monitoring self & others to ensure all duties are performed within established safety guidelines.
6. Identify & implement Continuous Improvement within the team to improve productivity, quality and minimise/reduce errors.
7. Perform any other duties associated with, or different from those specified above at the request of Senior Management, or to meet the needs of the business demands.

5. Demonstrable experience in Carpentry/General Building Maintenance.
