Job Title: Business Development Manager
Location: Essex & Hertfordshire
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 (depending on experience)
Term: Permanent
Hours: Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm
RecruitAbility is looking for a tenacious Business Development Manager with a hunter mentality to drive new business and expand our client’s business base. This role is ideal for someone with maturity, gravitas, and a strong track record in financial services or mortgages. With a mix of office and field-based work, you’ll be responsible for developing relationships, securing new business, and ultimately contributing to the company’s growth.
For the right candidate, this role has the potential to evolve into a Head of Sales position, within the company.
The Role of Business Development Manager:
Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities, generating leads and closing deals.
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and potential clients.
Attend face-to-face meetings with prospects (3 days per week on the road).
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
Negotiate contracts and commercial terms to drive revenue growth. To be considered for the role of Business Development Manager:
Proven experience in business development or sales
A natural hunter – proactive, self-motivated and results-driven
Strong negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers
Maturity and gravitas to deal with senior professionals
Ability to work autonomously with a strategic mindset
A full UK driving license The Package for Business Development Manager:
