Gen II is seeking Technical Trainers from our internal community across our core client service locations. The role works closely with the business to train end users on private equity, systems and accounting related topics. The reporting line will be into the Technical Training Director. If you are a proactive self-starter with a passion for learning and development, this is the position for you What you’ll be doing Be an active member of the CS Technical training working group, agreeing priorities for technical training and building a portfolio of classroom and self-paced technical training programs. Collaborate with the business function and working group stakeholders to evolve and expand the curriculum, ensuring content is standardized and relevant across the business. Learn the functionalities of the accounting applications with high proficiency to teach end users. Fully immerse and learn the end-user work flows to best facilitate practical on the job experiences for end users. Facilitate Bootcamps and Beyond Bootcamp training sessions to new and existing hires. Conduct seminars, workshops, and individual training sessions, both live and virtual. Facilitate training sessions on systems and proprietary accounting applications. Identify potential gaps in curriculum and work with training team members and business function stakeholders to resolve. Update and adjust lesson plans as needed based on both end user and manager feedback. Monitor, provide feedback, and write evaluations on end user progress through curriculum assignments and testing. Act as a liaison between the different business function stakeholders to capture change management and implement as needed. Perform analysis to measure the impact of the training curriculum. The ideal background for this role: Qualifications & Experience Sound academic background. Experience using Investran and Yardi in a fund administration operations team. Experience delivering training for a team, including in an informal environment, would be of benefit. Knowledge and Skills Knowledge of Private Equity fund administration, ideally at Gen II and currently working in the client services team Excellent presentation and facilitation skills with a successful track record of making an impact Excellent interpersonal communication skills. Strong organizational skills including logistics and planning capabilities. Strong proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint. Ability to operate technology and troubleshoot seamlessly. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments to meet deadlines on time. Ability to understand, express, and manage positive relationships and solve problems under pressure. Comfortable working in a fast-moving, dynamic, and sometimes ambiguous environment. High motivation to help others develop their knowledge and skills, and to learn how to be a best-in-class technical trainer. Has curiosity and does not settle for the status quo. Ability to travel as needed. Role Location/Hybrid Schedule This role is based in our Southampton office. Although the nature of most of the roles within Gen II cannot be classed as totally flexible, there is scope in some cases for a form of Agile Working. The different ways in which Agile Working can be undertaken is dependent on the demands and needs of the business, the office space available and the individual’s preferences and circumstances.
