Job Description:
Holidays Operation Assistant - Haywards Heath
Summary
We are looking for a Holiday Cottage Cleaner to prepare our stunning holiday cottages at Nymans where we have two cottages. This may require cover at other local cottages too.
Hours: This role is an hourly paid, fixed term role. Wherever possible we aim to offer a consistent working pattern, but we’re looking for flexibility as it may be necessary for us to alter this pattern from time to time to suit the needs of the business. We’d give you as much notice of this as possible.
Typically you will work 4-5 hours per week. The main changeover day being a Monday or a Friday; however, short breaks mean that changeover days can also fall on other days of the week, and you would have the opportunity to work other, additional hours if you are able to do so. Rotas are issued in advance, and we try to accommodate other commitments where possible.
Salary: £11.50 per hour
Duration: Fixed Term Contract until 23 January 2026
Interview date: w/c 3 March 2025
Potential start date: w/c 17 March 2025
Internally you will be known as 'Holidays Operation Assistant'
For this role, you’ll need to complete our online assessment instead of using a C.V. or online application form. This will help us understand more about your strengths and give you more information on the role.
What it's like to work here
The Cottages at Nymans, one is based on the high street at Handcross. The other one is in the woods of the estate itself. You will be working as part of a team at one of the cottages. What you'll be doing
The job requires you to clean the cottages following our Brand standards, making beds, checking stock and compliance each changeover and inputting your hours and absence on National Trust apps. Outlook will be used to access Rotas each week and company information.
Who we're looking for
No experience is required; training will be provided. We'd love to hear from you if you have a great attitude and lots of enthusiasm.
