Role Responsibilities The successful candidate will: Provide tailored support to pupils, either in small groups or one-to-one settings, to enhance their learning outcomes. Assist in the planning, preparation, and delivery of engaging and inclusive lessons under the direction of the class teacher. Foster a positive and nurturing classroom atmosphere, promoting the social and emotional development of all pupils. Support the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and strategies for pupils with additional needs. Contribute to the maintenance of a safe, organized, and stimulating learning environment. Participate actively in school events, meetings, and training sessions to further professional growth. Person Specification The ideal candidate will: Hold a relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent). Demonstrate a genuine passion for working with children and supporting their educational journey. Have prior experience in a classroom setting, ideally within the primary education phase. Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents. Be adaptable, proactive, and resilient, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic school environment. Show a strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
