If so then our Science & Process Trainer Assessor role may be perfect for you. This is a 12 month fix term contract, however could be extended to a permanent role (this will depend on the business need). This role is ideal for a person with previous teaching background but equally we are happy to consider candidates with industry related experience who would like to establish their career in teaching. In this role, you will be responsible for 30-40 adult learners. Our students are genuinely interested in what we teach them and demonstrate some exceptional learner behaviours. About the role The role of the Process Trainer/Assessor is to deliver, assess and where necessary offer support to learners engaged in Process Operations up to level 3, in accordance with the awarding body guidelines. The role will also include the progressive development of Process Operations curriculum and the material associated with its delivery. Gen2 has developed many higher level programmes to meet the needs of industry including the suite of nuclear related technology foundation degrees. The quality of teaching and learning is paramount, resulting in Gen2 success rates typically 20% above the national average. What you will be doing; To deliver and assess Process Operations courses up to and including level three. To develop and maintain the current Process Operations course material including lesson plans and schemes of work for a range of courses. Assist in assessing and offers plans for improvement. Maintain effective and efficient record keeping procedures. (ILP etc). Assume responsibility for meeting his/her course and learner performance goals. To ensure all relevant evidence of learning is accurately and correctly documented and completed for each learner. Provide feedback and support to learners on a one to one/ group basis. To assist in the overall development of the training centre. To assist in the delivery of course material outside of the subject of Process Operations. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Training Manager. About you This role is a rewarding position with some excellent opportunities for the right individual.
