We have a fantastic opportunity for a Sales Account Manager to join this market-leading and progressive global organisation, based in beautiful Birmingham City Centre Offices and offering hybrid-working 2 days a week.
In this rewarding and challenging sales opportunity, you will be tasked with identifying and qualifying new business opportunities for the organisation, working alongside the wider Account Management team. With an innately positive and friendly nature, you will speak to clients and build relationships with ease, generating sales leads and organising meetings for the Account Managers, as well as analysing existing client needs and recommending products to the senior management team to help boost sales. You will manage a portfolio of new and existing clients, developing these relationships and ensuring they receive outstanding service at all times, understanding their needs and promoting the organisation's products and solutions.
Working in this fast-paced and dynamic organisation, you will develop and strengthen relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, including contractors and architects, regularly updating and maintaining the CRM system, ensuring all account records are accurate and informative. Working alongside the field-based Account Managers, you will assist them in reaching and exceeding their sales targets and KPIs, supporting with project development and identifying key decision makers.
This is a truly varied role, which will also see you assisting the regional Account Managers with the quick turnaround of sales opportunities, such as quotations and pricing requests from clients, as well as dealing with client enquiries in a speedy and helpful manner. You will organise and participate in weekly sales calls, prioritising the upcoming weekly activities, as well as discussing identified opportunities from research to determine which projects need to be developed and progressed.
To succeed as a Sales Account Manager, you will need to have strong experience in a similar B2B/internal sales position and have an excellent telephone manner. With outstanding written and verbal communication skills and a fantastic work ethic, you will be a real team player who loves to go the extra mile for your clients. The ability to be resilient under pressure is key, along with outstanding analytical skills and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems.
