Job Title: Logistics Co-Ordinator
Reports to: Lead Projects Manager
Location: Limavady
Job Purpose:
The logistics co-ordinator will support the project team in co-ordinating deliveries of our products out of the factory onto our clients’ sites. They will also organise deliveries of bulk materials from suppliers into the factory. The logistic co-ordinator will maintain accurate records of all deliveries and their loads for cross-checking purposes. The successful candidate will be able to prioritise their workload and deal with a demanding schedule and transport planning for multiple customers.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
1. Schedule and co-ordinate deliveries of water treatment products to multiple sites across the UK.
2. Collaborate with multiple teams to ensure the smooth running of the delivery schedule.
3. Maintain and update delivery schedule to facilitate changes and communicate to relevant parties.
4. Communicate with haulage companies and assist drivers with any queries.
5. Liaise with customers and suppliers to organise delivery/collection times.
6. Resolve any logistic issues or delays proactively.
7. Plan efficient routes for multiple deliveries.
8. Maintain records of deliveries leaving the factory including photographic evidence and checklists.
9. Arrange collections of materials from the UK into our factory.
10. Send materials from our factory to site as and when required.
11. Support with customs documentation.
12. Review and approve costs associated with deliveries and query where necessary.
13. Identify trends and implement improvements to the delivery process.
Essential Criteria:
1. GCSE English (C or above).
2. GCSE Maths (C or above).
3. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
4. A full current driving licence and access to a car.
5. Proficient in MS Applications: Excel, Word, Outlook.
6. Ability to work locally in our Limavady Office.

Desirable Criteria:
1. Experience in a manufacturing/engineering environment.
