We’re a key partner to a number of infrastructure projects such as freeport building, HS2, motorway or rail bridge-spans, culverts, and green-energy initiatives. We’ve achieved this without a dedicated National Sales Manager.
Following investment in people and plant, we’ve transitioned from being capable and under-performing to a business that last month won our biggest order ever in Green-Energy, our most significant target market and sales focus. We’ve sorted the operation, quality, and delivery, and now need to enhance the Sales function by recruiting a Sales Manager who understands the pre-cast concrete market or adjacent civil engineering related products such as steel structures and ready-mix. We need someone who understands civil construction commercial processes and wants to drive a revitalized operation with short direct management structures – you’ll see the MD every day (he’s a nice guy!) and have your questions answered, with your sales and business development plans fully supported.
We’ve evolved from taking orders to actively hunting for complex projects, as we are virtually alone in our high-value, highly-sophisticated niche. We can target and deliver to the right people through our clear Sales and Marketing strategy.
If you are the kind of person who can reawaken our dormant customer base and identify new customers, we want to talk with you.
You’ll be a hungry and proven Sales representative, understand the market and the customers, and know how long it can take to land projects like these. You’ll have an eye for detail and the ability to listen and truly hear what the customer is saying, not just sell what you want to sell! Commercial empathy is critical.
Salary and general remuneration won’t stop us from bringing in the best, but we want someone who is sufficiently ambitious and driven to create their own success.
