Responsibilities
* Create and execute purchasing strategies that enhance supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.
* Evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and secure optimal pricing, quality, and delivery conditions.
* Stay informed on market trends, pricing changes, and supplier performance to guide purchasing decisions.
* Work closely with production and supply chain teams to ensure timely availability of materials for manufacturing.
* Keep accurate records of inventory, purchase orders, and supplier contracts, while analyzing data to forecast future purchasing requirements.
Qualifications
* Proven track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.
* Demonstrated experience as a buyer or procurement professional in the food industry.
* In-depth knowledge of sourcing, supply chain management, and market trends.
* Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
