The successful candidate will ideally possess a basic knowledge of the Criminal Justice system and demonstrate good numeracy and literacy skills, combined with good IT literacy skills and the ability to use MS Office software such as Word, Excel and Outlook. In addition, you must ideally be able to travel for business purposes and you must work flexibly to suit the needs of the team. Successful candidates will be subject to Management Vetting.
The successful candidate will then work between the Police Headquarters at Wakefield HQ. Once initial training has been completed, shifts will commence and will consist of a rotating shift pattern working: E.g. of shift pattern week 1: 4 earlies (07:00-16:00), 3 lates (14:00-22:00) followed by 4 rest days > week 2: 3 earlies (07:00-16:00) 4 lates (14:00-22:00) followed by 3 rest days - Repeat. You will be required to work weekends and bank holidays as applicable, which attracts a shift allowance and weekend enhancement.,
* Full Time Starting salary of £24,921.00 rising incrementally to £27,351.00 per annum
