Bournemouth Airport is seeking a talented and experienced Head of Engineering to lead our Engineering services and drive innovation in a dynamic airport environment. Key Responsibilities:
* Manage Engineering Services: Oversee a safe, compliant, and efficient range of Engineering and Project services, ensuring optimal resource management and a culture of safety and operational excellence.
* Budget Management: Prepare and manage operational and capital budgets to align with business needs, keeping plans updated to reflect changing demands.
* Infrastructure Oversight: Monitor airport infrastructure and facilities, identifying future requirements and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
* Team Development: Effectively coach and train team members, fostering their professional growth.
* Environmental Leadership: Lead the Airport’s Environmental Management System (EMS) in line with the requirements of ISO 14001 and coordinate initiatives to reduce carbon emissions in line with the Net Zero 2040 policy.
* Promote Best Practices: Maintain technical archives, ensure health and safety standards, and champion innovation across teams.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Represent the airport in various committees and positively engage with key stakeholders.
* Emergency Response: Support the implementation of emergency plans and conduct necessary investigations during incidents.

* Strong technical expertise and leadership capabilities.
* Successful track record of managing complex projects within budget and regulatory requirements.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills.
