Gtd healthcare is one of the largest NHS commissioned Primary and Urgent care providers in North West England. Based in Denton, Manchester, we have an excellent opportunity for an IT Support Officer to join our Information and Digital Delivery Team.
This exciting post provides specialist information management and technology support and professional information services to drive gtd healthcare's service delivery model. The team's fundamental structure consists of two core functions, Digital Technical Support and Business Intelligence Development.
As an IT Support Officer, you will support the organisation's business, information management, technology, and communications network and systems applications on-site and remotely.

Main duties of the job

Experience
* Experience with core Internet technologies.
* Experience with IT infrastructure components.
* Support IM&T function to deliver a quality service aligned with good practice across all areas including Incident Resolution, Service Transition, Technology Deployment, and Technology Disaster Recovery.
* Support gtd healthcare's telephony platform configuration, including cross-platform call recording technologies.
* Be familiar with Windows Operating systems and a detailed understanding of Active Directory / role-based permissions.
* Support the delivery of the IM&T infrastructure, to ensure true mobile working is achieved.
* Support business continuity / disaster recovery plans for the technology portfolio and the development and management of plans for the recovery of data and systems in the event of planned and unplanned systems failure.
* Experience communicating technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
* Professional experience in networking infrastructure and system integration.
* Experience establishing what drives quality and world-class customer focus and attention to detail.
* Identify opportunities for more efficient and innovative solutions to service delivery and business functions through the use of technology.
* Introduce new and innovative technologies, including hardware and software solutions, and process redesign to solve business issues to enhance gtd healthcare's efficiency, capability, and ultimately quality of patient care.
* Work in close collaboration with the clinical system suppliers, evaluating gtd healthcare's technology platform and rationalising innovative technology opportunities.
* Have a track record of support and developing ICT Systems across multiple sites.
* Support with business development opportunities by producing accurate activity datasets to complement tender processes.
* Directly contribute to/manage specific departmental and service-wide IM&T projects, including the development and testing of database applications and other information systems.
