The Recruitment Group are looking for An Account Manager to work for our client in Loughborough.
As an Account Manager you will work for a well-established company that has been present in Loughborough for over 50 years.
As an Account Manager, your role will be to secure business, maintain good client relationships and to maximise revenues and profitability within customer accounts for which you are responsible. To ensure that these projects are executed to the required standard and in line with the agreed margin expectations. These include existing active accounts and new accounts to be opened within the agreed scope of operation.
Pay for the Account Manager role:
£33,000 - £36,000 depending on experience.
Hours for the Account Manager role:
Monday to Friday 08:30 – 17:00
Key Responsibilities of an Account Manager:
* To manage customer accounts for which you are responsible. To set and implement policy within these accounts to maximise revenue and profitability.
* Establish commercial strategies within these accounts to maximise revenue and profitability.
* Prospect and find new clients within the target market segments / sectors agreed with the Key Account Director.
* To develop good relations with clients at all levels.
* To create contact reports and quotations, ensure that Production Orders are raised in a timely manner.
* To ensure that a Project Manager is allocated to each project.
* To take direction from the Project Manager on issues that relate to the achievement of plan.
* To follow Company policies and procedures.
* To ensure any quotation issued is within the Company’s approval procedure and margin policies.
* To ensure that sales administration and record keeping is performed for the accounts for which you are responsible.
* To ensure that invoices and credit notes (or any instruction/input for their preparation) reflect contract and to resolve invoice queries to reduce debtors.
* To promote team-working behaviours, communication, professionalism and a culture of continuous improvement throughout the business and to follow company policies.
* To manage risks and to report major risks and opportunities.
