An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Reliability Engineer based in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire to join a leading engineering company that designs a range of electronic systems for aerospace and defence applications.
The main purpose of the Reliability Engineer role will be responsible for the analysis and testing of hybrid electronic systems and components that are required to operate in high-temperature environments. They will also support electronic and mechanical engineers designing new products.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute reliability test plans for high-temperature electronic hybrid designs.
2. Conduct stress analysis, life testing, and failure mode analysis for hybrid designs and individual components subjected to high temperatures.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Extensive experience in reliability engineering, with a focus on high-reliability electronics preferred.
2. Knowledge of high-temperature semiconductor technologies (e.g., SiC, GaN) and their reliability.
3. Knowledge of the design and manufacture of hybrid electronics, including LTCC, HTCC, Thick Film, as well as PCBs.
4. Familiarity with harsh environment electronics (e.g., downhole electronics, avionics, optoelectronics).
