Your Role as SENCO: Lead SEND Provision – Oversee the provision for students with special educational needs, ensuring they receive tailored support. Develop Individual Support Plans – Work closely with staff and external agencies to create and implement effective EHCPs. Advise and Train Staff – Support and guide teachers on strategies to accommodate students with SEND in their classrooms. Collaborate with Parents and Carers – Build strong relationships with families to support student learning and progress. Monitor and Assess Progress – Track the development of students with SEND and adjust interventions accordingly. Who We’re Looking For: ✅ SENCO Qualification (or working towards one) – National Award for SEN Coordination preferred. ✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in SEND provision. ✅ Passionate About Inclusion – A commitment to ensuring all students receive the support they need to thrive. ✅ Strong Leadership Skills – Experience in leading a team and implementing strategic SEND initiatives. ✅ Excellent Communication – The ability to liaise effectively with students, staff, parents, and external professionals. ✅ Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to apply).
