THE OPPORTUNITY – TAR OPERATIONS LEAD The Morecambe Hub TAR (Turnaround – often referred to as Shut Down) Operations Lead is responsible for the preparation and delivery of plant isolation (boundary and individual), DFPV (DRAIN, FLUSH, PURGE, VENT) and re-instatement activities for both Offshore and Onshore facilities. The role will lead all productions operations activities associated with the TAR ensuring interactions and sequences for ramp down, shut down and start up are captured in a fully integrated TAR Plan. During TAR delivery, the role will ensure sufficient Production and Completions/Assurance resources are deployed at sites for safe execution of the annual shut down. AND NOW FOR THE TECHNICAL BIT… Once in role, you will be accountable for: Working closely with the Shutdown & Modifications Manager and Onshore/Offshore TAR Leads ensure compliance with the Spirit Energy shut down gated process so that key milestones are met Regular visitor to site (both onshore and offshore) to align all shifts with TAR preparations and expectations Working with the Process EA3s, manage the development of the boundary isolation philosophy for all Morecambe Bay offshore and onshore facilities Ensure the development of key procedures for delivering large scale outages for all Morecambe Bay facilities Responsible for ensuring the creation of accurate and deliverable outage plans Manage the development of the Drain, Flush and Purge Strategy Ensure the development of the leak testing strategy, including contingency planning, working with TAR Production Focal Points and the Leak Test Contractor Provide regular shutdown progress reports and set priorities to site personnel to ensure full awareness at all key milestones during the preparation sequence Provide operations input to CeSAR Scope Change process Liaise with Support Engineers and TAs to ensure all Production Related Technical Queries have been closed out and approved Act as operations focal point for Decision Review Board meetings and approve/decline any scope change request that may impact the TAR Provide clear status of operational readiness to steering committee meetings as required Ensure team develop process ICCs for shutdown intrusive activities up to the ready to be Verified status, including Process Isolation Plans, Isolation Selection Tool etc, mapping all BoCs to appropriate re-instatement testing i.e. to a test pack, TQ deviation or reverse integrity joint Provide and manage operations readiness in line with master TAR worklist Coordinate NRO HAZOPs, ensure resources are allocated to meet stage gate compliance Lead the production ramp down philosophy as per agreed Business Plan Provide Production support to Shutdown Delivery Lead when assessing break in activities People: Create the resource strategy and profile to prepare the plant and safely deliver annual outages Line Management responsibility for the TAR Operations Focal Points, TAR Preparation Coordinators and Completions Leads. Coordinate the author of decommissioning and recommissioning NROs Appoint PSSR operations focal point during execution phase Takes responsibility for the creation and lead the delivery of the front and back-end unit outage plans ensuring sufficient resources, along with key contractors, to safely prepare and reinstate the terminals from large outages Ensure an appointed person is identified to lead the phased system handover as per agreed Shutdown Plan Appoint and set expectations for an appropriate person onsite to coordinate isolation and de-isolations for all shutdown scopes Ensure an appointed person is identified to lead back end PSSR activities and systems handover for leak test ABOUT YOU You’ll need to have significant industry experience in a similar role, along with significant production and process experience. Knowledge of systems used such as SAP, Excel, Word and PowerPoint are going to be of great benefit. Strong leadership skills with a focus on Safety are a must for this role.
