Senior Clinical Scientist

We are seeking a highly motivated Clinical Scientist in Biochemistry for a 1 year fixed term post or for an internal candidate a secondment opportunity, to cover maternity leave. You will join our enthusiastic team in the Blood Sciences department of Derbyshire Pathology.
Derbyshire Pathology is a partnership between the Pathology departments of Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trusts and University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust, providing a wide range of biochemical services for both Trusts and Derbyshire and Staffordshire GP’s, serving a population of over 1 million. We have a fully integrated blood sciences service which includes automated laboratories, specialist biochemistry with tandem mass facilities and haematology, immunology and POCT sections.
Main duties of the job
* As the successful candidate, you will be HCPC state registered as a clinical scientist and have part 1 of Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists.
