Overview
This gorgeous high-end, historic private members club in the heart of Mayfair in London is looking for an experienced and creative Club Events Manager to join the team.
The Club Events Manager will create and deliver an exciting and appealing calendar of events and experienced for the club members. You will have autonomy to be creative in designing the events and promoting to the members to provide members with a luxurious experience.
You will assist the Events Manager and collaborate with other teams to plan, promote and implement programme calendar of Club Events. This role will be 5 days per week in the office.
About the role
* Plan and create a year-round calendar of events, including seasonal and weekly activities, tailored to the diverse club membership.
* Ensure events reflect the club's traditions, history, and values while being engaging and well-organised.
* Work closely with in-house teams, club committees, and external suppliers to deliver successful events.
* Manage event details, including schedules, budgets, booking systems, and promotional materials.
* Be hands-on in managing events with members when required.
* Build strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate costs, and produce reports for each event.
What we are looking for
* Proven experience in hotel or venue event sales, with a successful track record in planning and delivering appealing events.
* An understanding of private members clubs and working with club members would be desirable.
* Candidates must demonstrate excellent communication, creativity and close attention to detail.
* A self-motivated, detail-focused and can-do proactive attitude is required.
* An appreciation of the nature and culture of the club is required.
