Support Worker for SEMH Provision
Teaching Personnel is partnering with a specialist secondary SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) provision in Burnley, dedicated to removing barriers to learning and fostering a love for education. The setting offers a personalized curriculum to prepare pupils for life after school.
Due to the challenging behaviors exhibited by the children, applicants must have a strong passion for supporting pupils with SEMH needs.
The Role
* Support pupils on a 1:1 basis as needed.
* Implement strategies to manage high-pressure situations.
* Assist the class teacher with maintaining the classroom and resources.
* Support pupils on school transport when required.
* Maintain a good sense of humor and stamina to re-inspire pupils into education.
* Ensure pupils stay on task and uphold the school's values.

Pay rates quoted include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary role, with potential for permanent placement in the future.
