We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Reception Teacher to join a thriving primary school, starting in January. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a welcoming and dynamic team, committed to delivering high-quality education to children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the EYFS curriculum, fostering a love of learning in children.
Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes childrens social, emotional, and academic development.
Monitor and assess pupils progress, ensuring learning objectives are met and providing effective feedback.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and enhance the EYFS provision.
Build positive relationships with parents, carers, and the wider school community to support childrens development and wellbeing.
Maintain accurate records of progress and contribute to reports for parents and stakeholders.
Uphold the schools policies and ethos, demonstrating commitment to safeguarding and the welfare of children.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant experience teaching in the EYFS.
A thorough understanding of the EYFS curriculum and its application.
Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners.
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to plan effectively and manage time efficiently.
A creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching, inspiring children to achieve their best.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
