Labour Hire are looking for an experienced ELECTRICAL PROCUREMENT ENGINEER for a well-established company in SHOTTON, DEESIDE.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on a 4-6 year project at Shotton Paper Mill.

About You:
1. Methodical and diligent in approach to work.

4. Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
5. Good attendance and timekeeping.
6. Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
7. Minimum 5 years of experience in this role.
8. Preferably with knowledge of UK Market.
9. CSCS card required.
About the Role:
1. Monday-Friday - 45 hours per week (potential for weekend work).
2. 7am - 5:30pm.
3. Responsible for end-to-end procurement, including tendering, sourcing, and supplier / contract management.
4. Identify and put into effect the measures by analysing the necessary risks and opportunities for reducing the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
5. Analyse supplier and subcontractor offers and interpret the most appropriate purchasing goal.
6. Carry out negotiations with suppliers, coordinate the local contracts with the Project Manager, to obtain approval for contracts from the Main Office Contracts and Procurement Departments.
7. Creating new material alternatives and checking the usability of these materials in the project with the Technical Office Department.
8. Deliver on time the orders of materials needed by the construction site with making sure the material must be quality approved.
9. Coordinate and execute logistics and imports process with Head Office Procurement Department.
10. Continually track the supply market, keeping abreast of developments, trends, risks, and opportunities, leading the continual engagement with existing and potential suppliers and ahead of external market factors.
11. Check the warehouse activities (consumables, goods receipt, transfer).
12. Prepare related procurement reports/presentation.
13. Start: Subject to interview.
