An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Volunteer Engagement Team (part of our People Team) to support the continued growth of our vital Volunteer base at Isabel Hospice. Our volunteers are the heart of Isabel Hospice, generously dedicating their time to enable us to provide specialist care and support to patients and their families. This role is essential in ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for our volunteers, who make our work possible. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the People Systems Administrator and the wider People Team to manage volunteer applications efficiently and accurately. Process applications promptly, liaising with department leads and handling pre-volunteering checks such as references and DBS clearances. Respond to emails in the Volunteer inbox and process leavers. Coordinate with various departments to ensure paperwork is completed accurately and volunteers feel supported and valued. What We’re Looking For: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively across teams. Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment. Role Details: Casual position, working 2.5 days per week.
