Your role as an HGV class 1 driver
7. 1 drop per day : deliver to local or regional distribution centres.
8. Safety & efficiency : focus on safe, timely deliveries in line with all safety protocols.
9. Clear communication : stay in contact with the depot to ensure smooth logistics.
10. No manual labour : with palatalised deliveries, you won’t have to worry about handball, heavy lifting, or load strapping.
Requirements
11. Minimum 12 months of class 1 driving experience.
12. Valid CPC, tachograph card, and HGV class 1 licence.
13. Clean driving record : no more than 6 penalty points on your licence.
14. Attention to detail : safe loading/unloading.
15. Positive attitude : flexibility and professionalism on the road.
Pay & benefits
16. Day rate : £16.00 per hour (Monday to Friday) + 28 day holiday entitlement.
17. Night rate : £17.00 per hour + 28 day holiday entitlement.
18. Weekend shifts : available for extra hours if desired.
