A fantastic opportunity to work with a well-established firm of Accountants within their bookkeeping department. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of duties including:
1. Sales and purchase ledger duties
2. Bank / credit card reconciliations
3. Preparation / submission of VAT returns and CIS returns
4. Credit control
5. Managing supplier payments
6. Posting journals
7. Preparation of management accounts
8. Assisting with preparation of year end files
The firm predominantly uses Xero software, so you must have previous experience using this. Any previous experience working within a firm of accountants or similar would be highly beneficial. The company is ideally looking for someone to work full-time, but they do offer flexibility in start and finish times, and their office closes at 1.30pm on a Friday.
