Salary: £28,000 - £31,500 per annum
Annual Leave: 27 days, increasing to 31 after 5 years (excluding Bank Holidays)

Are you passionate about training and development in the health and social care sector? Care Dorset is looking for a dedicated Health and Social Care Trainer to join our team. In this role, you will support our workforce across Dorset by designing and delivering essential training programs, ensuring our staff are equipped to provide exceptional care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Create and Deliver Training Programs: Design and facilitate in-house training sessions for front-line colleagues, utilising a blended learning approach including eLearning and face-to-face delivery.
* Ensure Compliance: Deliver training that meets legal and regulatory guidelines set by CQC, performing needs assessments to identify areas for improvement.
* Champion Digital Skills: Promote the digital and functional skills of our workforce through innovative training solutions.
* Utilise Data Effectively: Collect and evaluate data on learning activities to report on trends and recommend solutions.
* Support Continuous Improvement: Revise training materials and programs as needed to adapt to changes in the work environment and align with Care Dorset’s values.
What We’re Looking For:
* Essential Qualifications:
o Strong understanding of social care and essential training requirements for the sector.
o Proven experience in designing and delivering training programs.
o Creative skills in course design and facilitation.
o Excellent coaching and people skills with a positive attitude towards encouraging development.
o A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle for travel to various locations.
* Desirable Qualifications:
o A teaching or training qualification in a relevant field, or a willingness to work towards one.
