CMM Supervisor- Bathgate The Role To supervise the day-to-day operation within CMM and to verify that machining processes are completed to Oil States design in order to meet quality requirements, within the repair and manufacturing environment. To work effectively to meet company delivery targets whilst ensuring safety, cost and quality goals are met. Key Responsibilities Lead the dimensional inspection team to adhere to management system processes, meet production demands and conform to all quality requirements. Ensure WIP and completed processes are verified and documented. Continuously improve efficiency within the department. Operation of dimensional equipment such as Romer/Faro arms, projectors, heigh gauges, external, internal and depth micrometres. Review and verify CMM inspection reports when necessary. Create, review, test and verify new CMM programmes prior to release for inspection or production items. Training of dimensional inspectors and CMM operators. Monitor machines shop activities and ensure departmental documentation is complete, accurate and available to the QA department on completion. Take a proactive approach to implementing process improvements. Ensure closing working relationships with all departments to improve services and communication to customers. Any other reasonable duties as required or deemed necessary to ensure the quality of goods met and work is carried out in a safe manner. Qualifications/Experience Experience within a similar engineering/manufacturing environment required. Previous experience in CMM Programming and Inspection using ‘PCDims’ software essential. Ability to prioritise work to meet deadlines and maintain high standards of productivity and quality. Ability to manage a team. Clear and concise communication skills. Remuneration & Hours Salary- circa £44K (flexible to secure right candidate) Mon-Thu-7.30am to 4pm. Fri- 7.30am to 1pm (37.5 hours) OT Available
