A unique opportunity to work in a unit where extensive MDT support is offered to the patients and colleagues alike. You will work alongside a team of professionals including Ward Managers, Charge Nurses, Doctors, Support workers, Therapist, Activity Coordinators and the Senior Management Team. As a Nurse, you will care for patients with acute mental health needs who are admitted to us for assessment and treatment.
To be successful in this role you will have:
1. Valid NMC registration RNLD RMN
2. Evidence of post registration continuing professional development

4. Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
5. Knowledge of NMC standards guidelines and professional practices
6. Knowledge of the Mental Health Act and Code of Practice

2. Day shifts are supported by Ward Managers and Charge Nurses and night shifts are supported by Night Managers.
3. There is a managers on call system (on call Manager and Senior Manager) out of hours.
4. We have a Junior Doctor based on site 24/7 as well as Speciality Doctors and Consultant Psychiatrists within working hours, and an on call Consultant Psychiatrist (out of hours).
5. Access to funded CPD courses relevant to the role.
6. Ability to undertake your Practice Supervisor and Practice Assessor training in partnership with Wolverhampton University.
7. Extensive training through our online Priory Academy as well as face-to-face training.
8. Free access to RCNI.
9. Your NMC registration will be fully funded.

Our Nurses work flexible shift patterns of long days (7:30am - 8.00pm) and nights (7:30pm - 8.00am), working 7 shifts over a 14 day period.
