As a Scientific & Regulatory Affairs & Nutrition Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring Regulatory and Food law compliance, including the provision of nutrition and allergen information to consumers and customers. You will support Marketing, Global Innovation, Foods teams, and Regional and Local countries to develop and launch products that meet relevant Regulatory and Food law requirements.
What you’ll do
* Providing expert regulatory direction to Marketing teams, particularly about product health claims and nutritional strategy to ensure in-market compliance.
* Providing regulatory direction in the NPD process to ensure in-market compliance of products developed by the Global Innovation department and Regional/Country product launch project managers. Challenging non-compliant ingredients and specifications.
* Identification of legislative and regulatory change across all markets that may impact ingredients, products, packaging, artwork, or product labels, and ensuring that the business is prepared to comply with changes.
* Influencing key stakeholders to drive business changes required to ensure compliance.
* Supporting and identifying opportunities for business compliance in future nutrition regulation globally where appropriate.
Who you are
* Expert Regulatory & Scientific affairs knowledge across at least 2 of the following Regions: UK, EU, MENA, Asia, US & Latin America.
* Detailed understanding of Allergen management in Supply Chain and Stores.
* Able to communicate complex technical requirements in simple terms.
* Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in published data.
