Pay Scale: STANDARD GRADE 10 Salary (£): 64,228 to 74,191 per annum, inclusive of Oxford Weighting Location: Kellogg College, Banbury Road, Oxford, OX2 6PN Contract type: Permanent Hours: Full-time Kellogg College, Oxford University’s leading college for flexible postgraduate learning, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Domestic Bursar to lead its domestic bursary operations, ensuring the seamless operation of key services and facilities that support the academic and social life of the College. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in the strategic planning and operational management of Oxford University’s most international and inclusive college, where we aim to create an environment for our people to thrive. The Role The Domestic Bursar will oversee critical areas including Accommodation, Catering, Conferences, Estates and Maintenance, Reception, and Security. You will work collaboratively with fellows, staff, and students to ensure operational excellence that supports the College’s academic mission. Key responsibilities within these functional areas include: Leading sustainability initiatives to align with the College’s environmental goals. Managing and developing diverse teams to deliver high-quality services. Overseeing financial planning, resource allocation, and compliance with legislative standards. Contributing and influencing strategic planning and providing expert advice to the College’s committees. What We’re Looking For We’re looking for an accomplished domestic leader with: Significant management experience in multi-functional teams, including strategic and operational leadership Expertise in facilities management, catering, hospitality, sustainability practices, and compliance with health and safety regulations. Proven ability to manage budgets and develop high-performing teams.
