Job Description
This is a great opportunity for an experienced structural Revit technician. The post would be based in the Plymouth Office. The building structures team is currently looking to expand due to an exciting pipeline of workload. The role would also provide an excellent opportunity for career progression.
Working within the Plymouth structures team you will assist with the delivery of projects across an exciting and diverse range of sectors. You will utilise Revit & AutoCAD to transform Engineer’s designs and sketches into detailed structural models and drawings. You will undertake clash detection, participate in coordination workshops and collaborate with team members from other disciplines to ensure project requirements are met, and drive efficient delivery.
Minimum Requirements
* Building / heavy civil structures Revit/BIM experience
* Knowledge and experience of modelling reinforced concrete frame / steelwork
* Experience of co-ordinating structural models with other disciplines
* Able to undertake clash detection checks
* Good working knowledge of AutoCAD to supplement 3D work.
* Willingness to adapt to new concepts and software. Motivated to keep up to date with developments in quickly changing industry.
* Able to manage all in-coming and out-going models and drawing information
* Good time management skills
* Able to demonstrate relevant project experience
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal
* Excellent organisational skills
* Self-motivated and able to take responsibility
* The ability to obtain security clearance is essential for this role due to the type of projects you will be required to work on
Desirable attributes
* CADS RC detailing experience
* Navisworks/Solibri software experience
* Prior use of project CDE’s such as Asite, 4 projects or ProjectWise etc.
Qualifications
A relevant HNC is desirable, but not essential
