We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to work within our busy Anti-Coagulant service at Barnet Hospital. The successful candidate will be highly motivated and be able to work independently, as part of team and will lead on the digitisation of the service. Attention to detail and the ability to work to strict quality and performance deadlines is an essential. The successful candidate is required to be able to demonstrate Trust values, and meet the responsibilities of the job description and person specification. · Work as part of the Anticoagulation team to ensure that all administrative functions for patients from the time of GP referral to the time of discharge are coordinated in line with specific care pathway instructions to facilitate the smooth running of the patients’ journey. Where a patient has multiple specialist needs, assist the patient in coordinating their pathways to reduce multiple appointments across the Trust.
· To provide administrative support to the Nurse Consultant and Clinician Nurse Specialists
· Act as a single point of contact for patients within your remit. Present a professional image for the service at all times and ensure the provision of a comprehensive, world class administration service to patients, relatives/carers, clinicians and external agencies.
· Work as part of a team within a dedicated speciality/patient group to ensure that all administrative functions for patients from the time of GP referral to the time of discharge are coordinated in line with specific care pathway instructions to facilitate the smooth running of the patients’ journey.
