Role is based on site in Chard, Somerset - hybrid, flexible working patterns
Salary £35K - £60K (DOE) plus generous benefits including relocation allowance (if required), Company pension and life insurance, wellness and health programmes and a lunchtime finish on a Friday!

What skills and experience will the Software Engineer need?
A minimum of 3 years demonstrable & relative experience in robotics, programming, or engineering
Capable of developing in C/C++, Python
Knowledge of path finding, navigation, forward kinematics algorithms
Experience with version control such as Git, SVN
Familiarity with electronics and low-level programming will be a benefit
Work well independently and as part of a team, using your own initiative.
Strong prioritisation skills with the ability to manage competing demands
Excellent communication skills, ability to communicate verbally, written and via presentation according to audience
