Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and ambitious Financial Controller to join our dynamic team in our Head Office, based in Belfast. This role is ideal for someone eager to broaden their skill set and gain exposure to strategic areas of business finance, working closely with functional heads and senior managers to drive financial excellence across the company. The Role The Group Financial Controller will lead, support and inspire the finance team to produce high-quality financial reporting and analysis for the group. The successful candidate will be a key business partner, working closely with various departments to drive strategic and operational improvements across the business. This role offers the opportunity to take charge of our financial management processes, challenge the status quo and contribute meaningfully to the companys growth. Day-To-Day Responsibilities: Manage, mentor and motivate the finance team of four Oversee the preparation and presentation of the monthly management accounts to the board of Directors with insights Monthly balance sheet reconciliations Preparation of annual budgets and forecasts Preparation of year end packs for external auditors and annual statutory accounts Develop and implement internal financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systems. Monthly cash flow analysis and Re-forecasting Management of day-to-day financial activities Act as a key partner to the other Heads of Departments in strategic and operational areas of the business Ability to challenge processes and colleagues and drive continuous improvement both in the department and wider business What You Need to Succeed: Qualified Accountant with experience in an SME environment Commercially astute, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced business Methodical and detail-oriented, with excellent judgment in financial and business matters Strong written and oral communication skills Highly motivated leader who can inspire and positively influence the team Whats in It for You?
