They also are to the point of contact for bills and return of any funds.
- Greeting customers: Greet customers and offer menus
- Taking orders: Take food and drink orders from customers
- Answering questions: Answer questions about the menu and ingredients
- Serving food and drinks: Carry food and drinks from the kitchen to tables
- Handling payments: Prepare bills and process payments
- Cleaning tables: Keep tables clean and tidy
- Handling complaints: Deal with customer complaints and make sure customers are happy
- Shift duties: Deliver racks of cups to the service station, roll silverware, pre-buss tables, and remove debris
- Communicating with staff: Cooperate and communicate with all serving and kitchen staff
- Following guidelines: Adhere to all relevant health department rules and regulations, as well as customer service guidelines
