Job Description Resources Modern Apprenticeship - Business Administration (Events) - fixed term for 2 years The Registrars Office, The Quadrangle, City Chambers Salary: £24,346 - £24,646 Hours: 36 per week The post holder will undertake a range of general, clerical and support duties which will typically include: Assist with managing any administrative tasks that will result in meeting required standards and legal compliance for hirers relating to contractual agreements, licensing arrangements, payments, production and marketing information. Assist with undertaking administrative duties in relation to organising Committee meetings, Elected Members Freelets, ceremony celebrations and various other events. Work effectively as part of a team within own area and across the wider environment in which the post holder operates. Ensure that all client requests at enquiry stage are dealt with creatively and effectively to secure the booking adhering to venue policy and procedures. Undertake duties required of the level of the post and to meet the needs of the service. Must be flexible, focussed, have excellent administrative and customer service skills and be able to work in a complex and high pressure environment. Office-based for the majority of the time. Will potentially be required to support co-ordination of events during working hours and over a weekend, flexible working arrangements will apply when this happens. You will work alongside with a range of other council departments which support the smooth running of our events, such as internal catering team, facilities management teams and registration team.
