Job title: Commercial Manager / Bid Finance Manager
Location : Belfast (hybrid working arrangement - 3 days per week in the office)

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Bid Finance Manager to join our UK team in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

Key responsibilities:
* Responsible for coordination, creation, review and presentation of Estimating, Costing & Pricing information to inform the Manage Bid & Manage Project Processes
* Prepare and present estimating and financial data at Gates, Estimate Reviews and CCRs
* Modelling of estimated costs, overheads, funding, cashflow, margin, profitability
* Support the continued development and implementation of estimating, costing and financial modelling methodologies, processes, and tools
* Seeking to maximise the value of corporately held knowledge and data for the purposes of rapid generation of Prices, Target Prices and Target Costs
* Cost analysis in support of early concepting
* Benchmark Thales prices with those of competitors
About you:
Proven experience of working in an analytic, commercial, or bid finance role, with a strong interest in performance metrics, and risk and opportunity analysis and modelling.
Contractual, commercial and financial awareness
Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
Must be a car driver with a current licence.
Security Clearance statement:
This role will require SC Clearance. It would be advantageous if currently held, however, if not currently held, it is a requirement that the successful applicant will undergo, achieve, and maintain SC Clearance. Please visit the UKSV website for further guidance.
To be eligible for full SC, you generally need to have resided in the UK for the last 5 years. In some circumstances, a minimum of 3 years’ residence in the UK over the last 5 years may be accepted, with additional overseas checks.
