Summary
This job is responsible for manufacturing Novanta products to quality standards.
Primary Responsibilities
1. Manufacture and rework products to quality standards to achieve KPI targets.
2. Report product, process and documentation issues to the Laser Manufacturing Lead.
3. Support continuous improvement of manufacturing processes.
4. Ensure organisation and cleanliness of working area.
5. Assist with maintenance of Company Quality Documents.
6. Perform any other tasks as business needs dictate.
General Tasks
Maintain strict compliance with the quality, environmental and occupational health and safety regulations and implementation of the instructions of the quality, environmental management and/or occupational health and safety officer.
Required Experience, Education, Skills, Training and Competencies
1. Understanding of manufacturing processes and procedures.
2. Previous experience within a similar role (desired).
3. Previous high-tech industry experience (desired).
4. Manual dexterity and excellent hand-to-eye coordination.
5. Strong attention to detail.
6. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Electronics skills.
8. Good organisational skills.
9. Strong problem-solving skills.
10. Ability to demonstrate initiative and think on feet.
