Job summary This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nursing Associate to join our team on St Lawrence ward. The Registered Nursing Associate is an essential role to support the nursing team to provide patient centered, safe and high quality care. We are a medically fit for discharge ward, specialising in Trauma & Orthopaedic patients as well as other surgical and medical specialities. It is essential to maintain the knowledge and skills necessary to perform your role effectively and ensure evidence of competence is provided to the line manager. There are opportunities for development, to learn new skills, especially within the vascular patients care. It is essential to recognise your own limitations and seek advice when appropriate, identifying own learning needs to discuss with line manager / appraiser. Main duties of the job Maintain the knowledge and skills necessary to perform your role effectively and ensure evidence of competence is provided to line manager Recognise own limitations and seek advice when appropriate, identifying own learning needs to discuss with line manager / appraiser. Participate in an annual appraisal with relevant reviews and to follow your personal development plan as agreed with your line manager.
