We require a suitably qualified person to join our team of Reporting Radiographers. We are looking for a self-motivated Radiographer with plain film reporting qualifications in chest and abdomen reporting and NHS experience to join the team. You will contribute to the plain film reporting of images from across the Health Board. You will need to have a flexible approach to the needs of the service, be open to change and able to work independently and within an established team. The main Radiology departments in Hywel Dda University Health Board are at Glangwili General Hospital in Carmarthen, Prince Philip Hospital in Llanelli, Withybush General Hospital in Haverfordwest and Bronglais General Hospital in Aberystwyth. You can be based at your chosen location. Applicants must be a Registered Health Professional with an appropriate postgraduate qualification. There may be a requirement to work flexible hours to meet service demands, and a flexible work pattern will be considered. Evidence of CPD and audit will be required. The successful applicant will possess excellent communication / organisational skills, be tactful and diplomatic. You will be involved in the supervision of student radiographers as well as Radiographers undertaking Reporting courses. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
