Meet the Team:
Our Lock Street site is a lively day service provision. The service is based on three floors and has individual areas as well as communal areas to meet the needs of the people they support. The individuals participate in a wide range of activities within the community including horse riding, swimming, visiting local zoos and museums, and attending courses at the local adult education centre. They also enjoy baking back at Lock Street. The specialist staff team in situ is looking forward to welcoming a new colleague to their award-winning team.

Hours:
There are 2 positions:
1. Position 1: Mon, Tue and Wed 9am-16.30pm- 22.5 hrs per week
2. Position 2: Tue, Wed and Fri 9am- 16.30pm -22.5 hrs per week
Training Provided:
* Care Certificate (can accept transferable evidenced certificate)
* Company Induction

* On the job observation and assessments
Tasks / Responsibilities of a Support Worker (may include but not limited to):
* Drive a mobility car or service vehicle
* Work with individuals who can display challenging behaviors, mental health issues, or self-harm
* Support individuals within the community in activities such as bike rides, long walks, and shopping.
* Administer medication
* Assist individuals with personal care and hygiene
* Be confident and experienced in lone working.
* Undertake sleep-in shifts and receive an allowance, topped up to NLW
* Household management tasks including cooking and cleaning
* Uphold privacy, confidentiality, and dignity.
* Handle money for shopping and banking.
* Support individuals with additional needs, such as epilepsy and learning disabilities.
* Form good working relationships with other staff members.
* Ensure written records are correctly maintained.
