Our client is an NHS Acute provider who are looking for short-term support within their Corporate Governance team. This is an exciting time at the trust as they work towards forming an NHS provider group. Its therefore imperative that they strengthen the Trusts Corporate Governance team to ensure adequate support and focus is given to the Board, Executive team and their Governors during this period of change. They are looking for an experienced NHS Corporate Governance Manager who can provide this support over the next six months.
It is imperative that the Corporate Governance Manager brings strong technical expertise to enable them to provide credible counsel, and demonstrable experience in managing Board Assurance Frameworks, supporting Board and Sub-Committees and annual reporting. Relevant experience gained within an NHS Foundation Trust would be preferable, however expertise from within an NHS provider would also be considered.
This full time role is hybrid working and will run for six months initially. The role is remunerated at Agenda for Change Band 8B and an immediate start is available.
For this role, you will need:
Extensive experience of NHS Corporate Governance including annual reporting and Board Assurance Framework.
Demonstrable experience providing support on Board and sub-committees.
Strong engagement skills, with credibility at Board level.
Excellent writing skills and attention to detail.
