Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
* Adapt/create designs and drawings for manufacturing, technical or commercial use
* Understand technical drawings and specifications
* Produce CAD (computer aided design) models and engineering drawings
* Provide help and support to production and internal/external sales teams
* Test and troubleshoot tools to find issues and solutions
* Learn and understanding of manufacturing processes for tool making

Essential qualifications
GCSE in:
* 5 GCSEs in total to include Maths, English,Science (grade 4 or above)
Desirable qualifications

* Engineering Level 2 (grade Pass)
